IWE3300-Ta
The IWE3300-Ta Series wireless Dual-Radio Repeater, based on IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g Technology, delivers Dual-Radio Repeater feature which has two independently configurable RF interfaces. Each RF interface can be configured either as an AP interface, a static bridge interface or a dynamic bridge interface. It is designed for extending the transmission distance under indoor application.
It can be configured into four operation modes, Bridge Repeater, Static AP Repeater, Dynamic AP Repeater and Dual AP modes. Under Bridge Repeater mode, both interfaces are configured as static bridge interfaces. Packets are stored and forwarded between the two RF interfaces wit full bandwidth. It¡¦s possible to use several IWE3300-Ta to extend the transmission distance. In Static AP Repeater mode, one interface is configured as an AP interface and the other is configured as a WDS bridge interface. The Static AP Repeater is suitable for situations in which Ethernet wiring between the AP and the network backbone is inaccessible.
IEEE 802.1x-compliant and RADIUS (Remote Authentication Dial-In User Services) in the product category, the most up-to-date wireless security solution for applications in public places such as airports, hotels, fast-food restaurants, etc. People with mobile computers can utilize services offered by access points within these areas to connect to the Internet securely and with virtually no effort. The standard protocol format allows WISPs (Wireless Internet Service Providers) bill the usage of their wireless services through IWE3300-Ta Series through their RADIUS servers.
Moreover, the IWE3300-Ta Series provides standard WDS (Wireless Distribution System) bridge functionality joining LAN segments that may be geographically separated (e.g., in two buildings, or in campus) to a complete network. Up to 6 WDS bridge links work in AP function simultaneously, enabling LAN segments to be flexibly connected to mirror any network topology which a traditional wired network can achieve. The bundled Antenna Alignment Utility provides the at-a-glance way to easily assist the antenna deployment through the friendly Windows-based user interface!
The optional POE function allows the power feeding by Ethernet cable to eliminate the additional power line requirement in special install environment. With the sleek and intuitive Web-based user interface, the IWE3300-Ta can be easily managed and satisfied by system integrators’ various requirements.
